+xgreat advertisement for the A-league. the A league champions smashed by a B team with retired players. Its the type of game thats doomed either way for us. Win and its "Well it was only liverpool legends and youth players", lose and it "you cant even beat liverpool legends and youth". This fixture was never going to convert eurosnobs. Of course that and A-League champions missing a number of key players smashed by poor Liverpool side in game no one got out of second year. Wonder what the plan was for this game from Arnie we have barely pressed.

Really , I never ever want to hear another whinge from A-League coaches about scheduling between ACL matches, half the Liverpool team played a few days ago the other half are either from the youth team or nearly 40 and not played a professional match in years and are making Shitney look stupid

Anyone who knows football would have said that if sydney won it would have been impressive because the liverpool team is still a strong team even if its not the first team. Its just that liverpool have such a world class team that their second team filled with youth and legends is still good
