@ azzaMVFC
No real issues this winter, there's a bit of negativity/worry over some of the pre-season results, some dont like the new shirts and they did hike the prices $50-$100 each in some categories but that's only after they crashed them 2 years ago in response to that crisis - but really compared to the last few winters sales are back to normal which is never anything spectacular lol.
I recon we'll exceed last years numbers though, they havent promoted the 3 game packs yet which apparently normally make up 30% of membership sales so I'd say around 5,500 by season kick off and 7,500 by the end - memberships just don't seem to be popular here (although the three other football codes sell really well?)

+x+x+x+xMid, FFA website says 4,180 ... No doubt Mariners (like a few other clubs, Roar reported just over 4,000 in a members Mail two weeks ago) are holding a few back to introduce some false momentum as they push for sales in the next 4 weeks. Club held a function for the kit release last Friday, and membership officer said as of the day before they had 4, 400, ... no idea how these things are reported by clubs... Nix figure even at 1, 500 looks like they are in for a struggle year crowd wise... I do wonder aloud how seriously they take metrics especially as a little bird told me they are one of the loudest voices when it comes to receiving more FFA funding... The thing is NZ doesn't really have a history of joining clubs. So historically you shouldn't be in our league because historically that's the basic shit that needs getting done historically Almost 20 years of NZ teams playing professional football in Australia seems like a bit of history to me! Also, while your comments make me smile (they're hilarious) I'm a bit worried that you'll give yourself an aneurysm. It will probably be good for your health if you calm down a little, maybe see a doctor about a Xanax prescription.

It's no joke I'm legitimately concerned at how senselessly upset people are getting, I guess passion is good but it should be directed at something which makes sense. Also, sorry, I don't know what drug is the correct one to prescribe - please take my suggestion as just an example and consult a medical professional. My information is entirely based on the cliches that I see in movies (and you're correct, they are most likely from the 90s). If I was talking about drugs in NZ I would have to say take a Alprazolam because our government only buys off brand pharmaceuticals that are manufactured in India.

So, if you think being cool on the internet and making that sort of comment is worth the risk that everybody else reading it has a 60% chance of being vilified by it then you're a tool. It's football mate.

Mental health is a huge issue and we're all too embarrassed to talk about it in the open. Sometimes just the calling out that behavior as unacceptable and completely out of context to the subject is all that is needed for a person to seek help.

IF anything Sydney FC's numbers are tracking very well Fullback4 - well ahead of this stage last season and actually on-track to smash their member record from the ADP era! Already 11,287 and their club record is 13,154. This is especially good given their on-field performances last season didn't translate to a membership surge then. I guess folks were still holding back to see how they performed in last season's finals series and with the A-League Trophy in the bag are now confident to get back on-board. This is where Arnie's era at SFC may finally be starting to prove to be a truly successful one, off the field aswell as on it. This is good for the A-League. We just need Brisbane getting themselves back up. Perth are flying, sure to push last season's record. Adelaide United is quite disappointing at the moment - down a thousand or so from where they should be at this point. Their new German coach and heir good recruits will hopefully provide for more optimism. City are tracking okay, but perhaps also down 500-1000 or so from where they were at this point last season, as too are the Wellington Phoenix, down 500 odd. Wanderers and Victory are tracking fine and I'd give more allowance due to their bigger bases. It's about clubs pushing their personal bests and the A-League seems to have another mixed bag of it this season, Perth and Sydney seem to be the only stand-outs in that regard, so far. Actually the Mariners are tracking quite well too, ahead by a couple hundred.

For all the rubbish thrown at the City supporters, they are fourth in the rankings. It'll be interesting to see where they end up.

It's good to see the Nixs getting above last seasons numbers so far this season. I think we should meet the metrics of 3k maybe even 4K this year.

Melb City hit 13k odd last year, will be lucky to get to 10k approx this year.
No ca$hill injection like last year and all the freebies they handed out.

I was at the grand final last year and it was full of people in Syd FC scarves, where are all those people now? Glory hunting at its finest. Part time fans. 11k is disgraceful after the season they had last year.

Part time fans. 11k is disgraceful after the season they had last year. Let's forget the fact that they are going to be smashing their membership record, and let's also forget that Sydney FC historically always gets all their members to games and then get s a large game day contingency turning up. I would rather that, than the other mob WSW who will claim higher memberships but with only 50% of those members actually turning up.
