So from what I can tell there is 1698 teams in thecompetition. Looking at the current number of selections Italiano is a locked in number 1 GK at a measly 120k. Thestats page shows 5.4 avg pts, which is deceptive given it was off 5 matcheswhere he kept 3 clean sheets and got a penalty save. Wellington haven’timproved so I don’t expect a lot from him and wouldn’t be wanting him as myonfield keeper. Izzo has moved to Adelaide a team now being run by Kurz, whohas got the team fit and playing very defensively. He showed at CCM that he canmake a lot of saves, so even in poor losses expect him to still score well. Ibelieve he will be one of the higher scoring GK’s and at 180k looks a steal asyour onfield selection. Only 428 others agree with that Glover is the 3rd highest selected player at 395,the highest selected CCM GK by a long way and at $100k it is understandable.The belief is he will start and after his performances in preseason I think itis a risk worth taking. Redmayne is the only other player at over 300 selectionswith 358, with a price of $190k it is a big risk given Cisak has a good chanceto be the number 1 Keeper at Sydney. Thomas and Janjetovic are the 2 premium keepers who bothhave solid seletions in the 200’s , but really are they worth the extra 60-70kover Izzo or $130-150k over Italiano or Glover??? Defensively I see CCM as stronger this year than previously,while Wellington haven’t improved that much. This is leaning me to staringGlover as my bench option over Italiano.

Perth, Newcastle & City/Heart have the highest penalty conceded rates, which means less clean sheets and I do not think any of those teams keepers are worth it at there current prices. Wellington IMO will be bottom and probably the worst option. Fantasy is about effective use of funds. Can you use the money saved by going Izzo over Thomas to improve another position more than what you lose in the first position. Who do you plan on starting?

I don't plan on sharing my gameplan with yall :lol: I think all I've given away so far is I don't have any Jerks in my team, have Glover as backup GK and that Mark Milligan is in my team - but he obviously won't start the first round.

Your essentially taking the risk that they all perform which could be good if they do, but if they don't you could be out of the running after 3-4 weeks.

From my experience cheap goalkeepers are generally the way to go. (At this stage I may not even spend over 220K on my combined keepers, but we'll see) +xI don't plan on sharing my gameplan with yall :lol: I think all I've given away so far is I don't have any Jerks in my team, have Glover as backup GK and that Mark Milligan is in my team - but he obviously won't start the first round. Come on man! I used to post my gameplan all the time, only for Afro to tell me I was wrong. :laugh:

Playing a 3 4 3 atm.
Torres is more of a DM but will play in a stronger team and will leave me with some coin in the bank.
Vidosic will play as a 10 so may score and assist more but will leave me with no coin.

I know it's a gamble putting Big Mac and Skapetis in but I've got a feeling they're going to contribue big time. Kaluderovic had a great strike rate when he was at Brisbane so he completes my smokey frontline.
Will probs change to Berisha etc after round 1 but I like living dangerously.

Pretty happy with the team, just need to decide who to play as my last onfield. Skarpetis, Bujis, Galloway or Appiah
