How did the conditions play a part in that? Other than put uncertainty in the keepers mind he was about a meter and a half the wrong way

This game epitomizes why we need small boutique stadiums. The away Newcastle fans are forced in to the small undercover area and are suddenly generating a bit of noise, even with only a few hundred of them. Now imagine a whole stadium like that,

Jets were much improved in second half.... I'd like to see proper replay of first goal. Bobo really must have been close to being offside - my immediate thought was he was but hard to tell.
Also why blow full time when ball is in air.. terrible

Out of interest do they check tickets at the away bay entrances? Last season when I travelled to Newy I bought GA as the away tix were like $7.50 more. I ended up sitting in in level 2 members area in the first half then the away bay in the 2nd and nobody checked at all despite wearing a Sydney scarf.
