out of curiosity, why isn't WSW v Victory at Bankwest this week? would have brought a fair bit of interest.

+xout of curiosity, why isn't WSW v Victory at Bankwest this week? would have brought a fair bit of interest. Moving back to Bankwest this season was never in contention. I assume we wanted to get a season by season deal and this would have been a once off. Was probably also factoring in any potential delays in the build.

But apparently it's cold in winter and no one would go in winter. Or is that another excuse?

+xso was not letting the new sydney team joining the comp i'm still scratching my head as to why MSWS isn't joining in season 19-20. one of the stragest decisions the FFA have made. and they have made their fair share.

Brisbane v Adelaide - 11,790.

+x+xThink the Waratahs are there this weekend. could have been moved to sunday. I think they also figure why waste the 1st game there at the end of a miserable season where crowds dropped. This way the 1st game next season can be pumped up massively and get them on a roll

Melb City v Mariners, apparently 4,900.
Someone I know with free tickets went, he said that's a bit of BS, probably 3ish in his opinion.
Diabolical.

Just goes to show that this "race to see who can finish 5th" is a product of finals for the sake of finals, and no real interest for fans of competitive sport

I came here to post the crowds for the Melbourne City and Newcastle matches. Then I noticed that the thread is full of dick heads, so I won't.

+x11,700 at Roar v Adelaide. 92,000 to watch C/wood v Essendon. Discuss or not. Simple. One code is THE biggest sport in Australia with massive support within the general population and media, and is engrained into the cultural fabric of Australian society. The other code isn’t. Enough discussion ..... or do we just love discussing the bleeding obvious??
