Patterson unlucky this isnt a FC class game but he once again showed why its a complete mystery that he hasnt been picked. Pucovski or Marnus will probably still play but it really should be Patterson's spot

+x+x+xWith it being only a three day game there is discussion about an Aus declaration. 18 overs remaining.. dusk.. chance for our quicks to swing it. You would be tempted to declare. If Doran gets his ton will CA be feeling smug. Reckon someone far more deserving of this chance in Jimmy Peirson may be feeling a little sick. I wanted Josh Philippe. This knock may just kick start Doran's career after he promised so much as a teen but could not deliver when it mattered. Too much expectation perhaps?

+xPucowski has been discussed a lot in TCA members as being suspect against short balls. Yes I can understand that as he has been concussed by the short ball repeatedly in both his junior and senior career.
