What is your response, Decentric? 

There has been an incredible amount of  trolling, fake identities, slander and misinformation created on other forums, that a couple of notorious internet trolls have tried to bring to this forum.

How is it relevant to 442?    

In utter frustration as a teacher, one older forum member was  accused of bullying a 15 year old on 442. It is anathema for my profession.

I acted on it, borrowing two accounts of a mate in the same profession, to create a satirical response to the perpetrator, because I thought the then 442 Mods weren't acting on the complaints. They could've been. I didn't know the details.

I didn't create the accounts, but borrowed them. The flippant  identities in the accounts were what I created.   

Ok lets get me this straight. 

First you delete the thread for no reason. 

Second you claim that its only speculation and that I was lying. 

Then you delete the thread again for no reason. 

And then you claim that they were just your friends accounts!!!

That does not excuse what you posted. 

And the final nail in the coffin? Eastcoastphantom was abusing people BEFORE the Salmon/Muz drama. 

And abusing people who were not even involved. 

You are not crawling out of this hole Decentric.

This was posted 6 YEARS AGO, before Salmon even had access to the internet. 

More lies by Decentric of course.  Both accounts were created on the same day by Decentric.  Decentric claims only a handful of posts were made.  Over 100 were.

He also claims the multi thread is 'light-hearted' and then pastes long winded, bizarre diatribes in this vein.  (Bolding of the text below a personal favourite of mine.)  As an aside getting called 'sanctimonious' (see below) by Decentric is the height of irony. (Oh, and being told I lack a sense of humour?!  What?!  I'm the funniest bloke I know.)

Most people would ignore spurious claims about themselves.  Not this bloke.

As expected from reinstating Localstar and Muz, temporarily, it  could be quite plausible in suspecting  one is a multi account  of the other.

What do they share in common?

* A cynical disposition towards others' posts.

* Devoid of any sense of humour.

*They reach mutual orgasm and derive immense pleasure from speculating wildly over years and years  of which other posters on 442  are me, when they've had not one reciprocal comment from years of being muted. This is extraordinary behaviour! 

* They share many traits of  autism, or Aspergers, from observing innumerable kids I've taught. Those kids have great difficulty understanding humour - like Muz and Localstar.

* They share a moralistic attitude towards other posters, always telling them how to behave.

* They both derive immense, innate satisfaction from their own self-righteous and sanctimonious  posts.

* Both were  particularly annoyed by a satirical poster called Bill Bilston - demanding his 442 ban! Both were very upset about Bill coining the nicknames Bumrub for Munrubenmuz and Victor Meldrew for Localstar!

* Both whinge and moan incessantly on 442, apart from enjoying each other's negative posts.

* They share the trait of always finding the negative in other 442 posters' comments.

* They fixate on some other posters, despite no response - Krones, Notorganic, yours truly - who else?.

*They never start any positive threads on any issue. 

*They are both terrified of meeting up with other 442 posters off forum.

Muz = Localstar.

Keep up the great work jlm.  Those posts are timid compared to the garbage that was posted on anarchy.

What worries me the most is not what we’ve seen so far, but what could have already happened without us knowing. 

Myself, Muz, Davide, 433, AOL have a voice and know how to use it. But even that wasn’t enough to stop Decentric from deleting our posts and threads that broke no rules. 

I know how to stand up for myself and how to do it within this forum, but how many posts and threads has he already deleted from others who don’t know what is happening, who don’t know how to use feedback, who don’t know who the REAL moderators are.

How many threads in the future will have posts deleted that Decentric doesn’t agree with? Posts that might be critics of himself or something he agrees with? If he has no problems already flexing his power on prominent and longstanding members of this board, what’s going to stop him from doing it to Johnny 50 posts? 

I am am not calling for him to be banned, but with his own admissions and some of the vitriolic posts that can be proved to be his without a shadow of a doubt, his position is completely untenable. 

There is no reeling in someone who has spent the last 10 years on Internet forums creating a wide range of identities at will, and quite frankly some of the posts that can be found on other forums on accounts that Decentric has admitted to using are downright frightening. 

It seems like there are still people on this forum who want it to thrive, who want to improve it. 

That cannot and will will not happen whilst Decentric has the power to do whatever he likes.

From now on stick to football in the football sections and all will be well. going through old posts looking for things posted in the middle of ongoing arguments isn't going to change anything.

Why does Decentric have to be a moderator to contribute to football discussion? Let him post content and let rational people moderate. 

Are you aware of comments being deleted? Not even ones bringing up the past, just people saying 'Hmm, I'm not so sure about this one'.

This is my opinion and you are free to ignore it. (Although it is shared by others as you would have noted)

The appointment of Decentric as a mod, without consulting any of the other moderating team, after he has been agitating for a position for literally years has been a major error.

The forum was 'far from dying' as was intimated by Decentric. Yes there's reduced traffic but all forums in general are struggling as people move to other platforms.

The fact that not a single person has congratulated this new mod tells you all you need to know about what the vast majority of posters here think of this appointment.

You could have picked any number of other well respected posters and it wouldn't have created barely a stir.
