Nice.
Returning home from going out with cricket mates and lamenting the tiny total of 179, England at 4-34 look unlikely to reach it!

+xArcher too good for Australia. Will take a lot for Straya to save this match unless it rains for 3 days... 4-41 suggests Aus’s 179 looks like a big total!

+xSuperb stuff from all the fast bowlers and awesome catching from Warner In the last Test Lisa Stathlaker and Healy were deconstructing his awful footwork for slips catching.

It is one of the great pleasures of life watching Pommy batsmen trudging off the pitch in quick succession.

+x+x+xArchinator on fire... give him a knighthood now... Aussies aint used to real pace... even Bumrah was too fast for them at 140... Yeah Im trolling, but India, Pak, SA and now Eng have a faster attack... the WI aint slow either... it's kinda funny tbh,,, Aus is no longer that fast... I'm not sure pace is really significant unless it is over 150 kph? Australia still has 3 bowlers not selected who bowl over 150 kph regularly, or at least high 140s - Starc, Riley Meredith and Billy Stanlake. The latter only has the stamina for white ball cricket though. Meredith was consistently quicker than Archer with Hobart Hurricanes last season in BBL. Having said this, Archer's spells in the second Test were some of the most hostile I've ever seen. He seems to get extraordinary bounce off a length. I was only trolling. But Bumrah was bowling entire spells in the high 140's in Aus last summer and an average speed quicker than Starc... I think you are wrong. Starc's average speed in the Aus summer was one of the fastest averages of any bowler in history according to commentators. He didn't bowl that effectively though. Tasmania's Riley Meredith is probably quicker than Bumrah too.

Cummins dismisses Woakes caught by Paine off a steepling short ball to dismiss him first ball after tea.
Poms 7-54.

cummins short ball is such a weapon
he holds back his pace with his stock delivery and bowls a fraction quicker for the short one. Bret lee would lose about 10kph on the short one which is standard. Cummins gains a couple of ks
