Why not bring in more of these old unknowns, I am sure it will improve interest in the game....

His addition should at least lower the average age of the squad.

WUFC are clearly trying to appeal to demographics - Yuel to the African community, Diamanti to the Italian community, Jertec to the Croatian community, Kone to the Greek community. Hopefully it works for them - other than that this seems like a nothing signing. 

perhaps the strategy might work better if they chose players that are actually recognised by those communities, just saying.

What a pointless signing. This bloke is 34 and has spent the last two seasons in the Croatian Second tier.

This guy will be a bench player at best.
