Foul throw by Mabil.
At international level.
Kudos to the refs for pulling it up.

+xTotal goals conceded in Round 2 of the previous campaign: 4 1 dive penalty by Jordan and that handball by Kyrgyzstan. The Jordan goal in Sydney was good albeit at the death. The 2nd Jordan goal in their win was annoying to see. There was a claim for a foul on our man pre goal. That was a frustrating day. Hope for better in 4 weeks.

+x+xDecent half I guess. Borrello missing. Grant doing the attack on the right. He was MIA against Kuwait too. His highlight this game was smashing the gk Don't know what's up there. Plenty more games to come for him though.

All Australian players first touch is generally still very poor. Means that we find it hard to break teams down through the middle, especially with a stacked defence, as this requires sharp ball movement which is impossible to achieve with a crap first touch.

By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

+xThat goal for Taiwan was the best thing to happen, has at least made us switch on a bit. Yup. Hopefully we go for double digit goals.

next half be fkin ruthless. sick of these shitty 2 goal 2nd halves. hit them hard. taggart and irvine 1 more each minimum. Also moving forward irvine can easily fill our striker void

commentator on Taiwanese player Chu En-Le
"Turkish born. ... he married a Taiwanese girl, and moved to Chinese Taipei"
WTF. I never even knew there was a country or place called Chinese Taipei

Thailand lead UAE 1:0. Still 0:0 for Japan in Tajikistan early on.

+x+x+xStill don't know why we bothered bringing Ryan out. You don't get to say that when you concede in games against whom Nepal got a clean sheet. They have 3 professionals total. Even if they jag a goal any keeper would have done. Would have been good to give someone else some experience and Ryan a break. NZ semi pro players matched out under 23 players so who cares whether they are or aren’t professional. Clearly they have some ability

+x+xActually I went back and that looked pretty onside to me lol Yeah. Evens out that first one then! Well, maybe not really because the whistle had blown before the strike.
