Lots of unknowns which creates excitement. new coaches to the league for CCM, BRI, WEL, ADL and MCY should bring new ideas to the league and new playing styles. new coaches (but known to the league) for MVC and WU and WU being a new entity entirely, means a lot of "new" going around which should be good for a league often criticised last season for being stale. a tightening of quality in players - last season the leaders SFC, PG, MV really stepped up their recruiting, their level was quite a bit higher than the rest of the league, particularly when compared to CCM who probably went backwards a little. meaning the spread of quality between the top squad and the bottom squad was drastic. this season CCM and BRFC have improved their squads significantly, the leaders have maintained (apart from MV who look to have improved but i wouldn't say above SFC and PG of last season). it looks like the spread of quality has tightened so it should be a much more even comp this year.

Brisbane no longer a shambles is the big positive. Perth also seem to be on a par with last year, so the peripheral teams will push the heavyweights of Sydney and Melbourne again this season.
Having Western United enter is another big positive. Looking forward to MacArthur next year. Things are finally moving forward.

also my choice is the ffa cup it is so unpredictable this year even this week's fixture ccm vs hume can be anyone's guess and melb city vs wsw they are really the two favorites playing each other. so anyone can win that comp this year

Also with Wanderers finally playing in their stunning new stadium not only drastically improving the optics, they also seem to have a much better squad this season.
Perth, Sydney and Victory still look to be top rung but Wanderers, Brisbane and maybe City, if not challenging, won't be far behind.
Certainly should be a lot tighter at the top this season.

Wanderers back at Wanderland will be exciting.
WU being fresh is interesting, but they’ll need solid results to win people over. And they need to be more open about the Stadium and keep people in the loop..it’s one of main reasons they won the bid, so be loud about it.
Still feel like its a bit of a transition season until we’re at 12 with Macarthur next season.
The long off season needs to go, massive buzz/momentum killer.

As others have said, new coaches brings freshness. The arrival of WU although the should of introduced Macarthur at the same time. Finally WSW playing at the new stadium will be good to watch as a neutral.

Western United's Debut Wanderland returns friendlier kick off times hopefully all A-league actives can grow in colour and noise by their own standards and expectations.

Western United. Wanderers returning to Wanderland. New visa players. New coaches. Young players with lots of potential. McGree and Piscopo excite me the most. CCM will be better, The rebuild is starting but still have some deadwood to get rid of. They could have a very decent team in 2020/21.

Watching Great Britain Roar. A Marketing campaign by New HAL Co. ABC HAL games. New talent. The surprise team of 2019/2020.

+xOne season closer to relegation WU excelling hopefully; Wanderers in their new homeground along with stage 1 of their headquarters in Blacktown completed; New players from o'seas and locals; Expressions of interest by the end of the year by FFA, to the NPL sides for the second division, therefore starting in 2021-22 season; Mariners improving 10 fold for Stajic alone.
