I like see to Australian's playing European football.  It makes them better footballers. 

He just played against Red Bull Salzburg and drew 2-2. Good result

To think he looked bang on average when playing for Adelaide and is now playing really well in a 'better league' (no doubt the top teams in Austria would demolish every A-league team, but I'm not sure how deep the league runs). The fallacy of comparing leagues I guess. So many factors affect an individuals performance. 

Yeah I remember him looking super average in the A-League whilst playing at his prime age.

Happy for him, but very curious.

He only played a handful of games though. May have been carrying an injury, tactics didnt suit him or simply out of form during that time. Who knows but point is so far he's won a title in a decent euro league, played Champions league group stage matches and now captained and star player for a Europa league team. Very few aussie players currently available for selection have that sort of resume. Jeggo for instance falls far short of that. Would be a good one to bring in to replace Milligan

One would think he should be  selected, BOH.

Ange never liked him, after he was a Holger regular.

I was unimpressed with him in the HAL when he returned.

Holland looked like a great talent with an all round game in his early years .
