+xMVFC tease the fans with the suggestion Rojas was gonna play on friday to get more people through the gate, while it was never a realistic chance. people are starting to see through this shit. the club must be alarmed at 17,000 on friday. that would have to be the lowest big blue crowd in Melbourne since the days of Olympic Park. And you can't blame the fans really. I can barely ever recall going into a big blue where I have expected to lose, and anything else was a bonus. The manner of the loss was disappointing too. Sense of team without identity or backbone.

Considering Sydney FC has been dominating all season, including the past couple of seasons we have to admit a 10k crowd on a day with decent weather can only be described as shit.
Having said that, I'm not one to expect a crowd like some others do. For me 13k in a stadium with 20k capacity, and on a Friday night would have been perfect.
Overall for me the venue is key. Sydney FC have picked the perfect venue where I'm sure even a 10k crowd most probably breaks, and most importantly for fans both at the game and watching on tv you deliver something fans want to be a part of. For example it was 10k at the SCG as a whole the night would have been disgusting.

I dont have enough time to travel there before the first half ends so why would I bother going. 10k is acceptable imo

Jets v WU - 5,458 Ade v City - 7,068 Glory v Vucks - 9,435
Jets game was fricken hot and while I don't deny its an awful crowd, I understand why people wouldn't show up to conditions like that.
Adelaide crowd disappointing, and expected glory to crack the 10k mark considering the way they talked it up, however it is decently above their average

Adelaide has the big bash finals on at the same time so that’s understandable. Perth’s crowd was disgraceful, however If the wildcats weren’t vsing Sydney at the same time, they would have got 12k.

If there was no climate change, other sports didn’t exist, all teams had billion dollar bank accounts, public transport was free, and they gave out free beer at matches, I definitely think we could get to a 12k average.
