But you'll still never acknowledge that despite the rapid downward spiral.

But you'll still never acknowledge that despite the rapid downward spiral. Firstly, that's bullshit. If you want to make your argument based on aggregate crowds then you are arguing for a single tier system because that is when they were at their best. Anyone who thinks teams like South Melbourne, Sydney Olympic or Brisbane Strikers are going to average more than 5 000 are full of shit. Secondly, I have always argued in favour of an open system but I also acknowledge that the a-league has given us the big teams with broad support that the game needed, now I think we need to reconnect it and open it up. Focus on football and player development. There are people out there having genuine discussions about it, then there are people like you having a whinge based on bullshit premises.

Guess they were all watching on Twitter and Facebook pRo/ReL wIlL fiX iT Pro / Rel isn't the magic solution for everything. Denial is The fact is hundreds of thousands of people are interested in watching the A League. A third of them don't know its on. A third of them watch it on Kayo. And a third of them are in the wrong target market because kids these days are obsessed by social media I'm perfectly fine with a league where 3 of the 4 biggest markets are in the bottom 6 and I'm sure most fans are also. The most important thing is that the name of the team that wins each year is different

I think it mentions that the grounds might be used by A-League clubs as well, so could be a win for the A-League

3k at the ACL game tonight.
This is what endless years of our teams not being good enough to compete does.
Australian pro football is fucked. The salary cap has strangled the life our of the game.

+x25k saw Johor beat Suwon in Malaysia. We are sliding into irrelevance here Nah, plenty of good leagues in Europe are getting 9k to 10k per game, it's not a big issue. As many have said, we need the right sized stadiums, and we need to establish a 2nd division.

Aren't these leagues falling further and further behind the biggest leagues though as money becomes more and more relevant? This will happen to us in Asia.
