I don't really know Decentric, I know of him and have come across his posts now and then and that's about it.

I have some free time for the next few months so decided to return to the Forum and pitch in where I can. If you're accusing me of being Decentric in disguise I can assure you that I am not him, I'm sure other Moderators could check my IP address if that was particuarly necessary.

When you take the logic used by people on this "multi speculation" thread -- and realise that those same people using this level of thinking to debate about vaccines -- it really explains a lot why often it feels like talking to a bunch of ... I can't bring myself to write what I thought.

The Mainstream Media often has feature stories of people as exemplified in this thread -- but to enter a thread where a bunch of such people are speaking together without inhibitions - it is disturbing.

To prove how demented that is : even I have been accused of being a "multi" - which is so ridiculous, because I know myself that I am one person.

There are such people in society as exemplified in this thread ... and it seems here is the gathering place.

You realise, don't you, that critique is not the same as shutting down freedom of speech.

Freedom of Speech includes being free to highlight flaws in arguments that one disagrees with.

If you think I was shutting down free speech, point out to me one statement I made that you believe was me shutting down free speech.
