Is he from Melbourne? We have such a strong team I’d like to see Atkinson go out of all them. He’s from Adelaide. He is from Adelaide originally but appears to have been based in Melbourne for some tile judging by his social media.
Given he was at Heart/City for 4 years prior to a 2 year deal at AU and then going to Scotland, he certainly has spent a fair amount of time here.

+xSydney’s youth set up seemingly doing very well. That’s four who have/might have left and if they all gathered fees then the academy is paying for itself For other clubs that’s been the case for several years, it’s nice that SFC have woken up to the benefits of Academies but it’s hardly “news” every time they do something other clubs have been doing for years lol

+x+xDon’t think it’s been said here yet, but Joey Champness is apparently putting his rap career on hold and has signed a 1 year contract with Roar... which has gone down pretty badly with Jets fans and management, due to their agreement that he would go back to them. I’d be pretty sad to see him sign for someone other than the Jets, though I can see why he would choose Brisbane (proximity to family etc). It’ll be interesting to see where his skills are at after a year of no football. nabs said the same thing to the jets . Unless its in writing a verbal confirmation isnt worth anything He is under contract till 2022 Nabbout was off contract
