The $1M is massive overs and just one big publicity stunt.
For him to have the nerve to demand up to $3M is ridiculous.

The Mariners have struggled in recent years but i'm glad they avoided this train wreck of an experiment.

When he actually got a club in the A-League is when many fans turned off the A-League. He made it a laughing stock of the world. 

He got a bigger red carpet laid out for him relative to his actual ability than any other player in history and still thought that wasn't enough.

There are plenty of pace merchants who aren't 31 out there who wouldn't have turned their nose up at 1m per season.

Absoloutely shameful that it was allowed to go as far as it did. 

He could simply buy the club for $5 mill and play himself every week.

If he owned the club he wouldn't pick himself to play - he would want to win.
