should play locally

socceroos vs nz would be great

another reason why we should be regularly fielding a "b" team made up of local and asian players only - blooding newbs and getting matches under their belt when the regular club schedule here is soooo light.

imo - because of geographic necessity - it should be a common thing to have international breaks where we field 2 NT's playing at the same time.  the european NT and the ausian NT.

Should play a friendly against NZ then with both sides using Australian/NZ based players. I’d love to see us play a friendly against a South Sudan side made up of local players too.

Not saying I wouldn't like to us play 'anybody at this stage' but if your unable to get your normal 23-man squad to the friendly it is a colossal waste of money as there is no chance of a sell out or well sold out stadium....

The Socceroos are an 'expensive' team to pay and stadium hire isnt cheap in Australia, in addition you have to pay the NZ squad to come here etc.

It isnt like NZ will pay for anything, they never do....
