We are in the long straight to breaking every 'Due Diligence' record that ever existed, on prospective ownerships of Football clubs. Jets will be abandoned by their notable players, and rightly so because of the uncertainty of the Jets and of the Mariners for that matter. Prediction on 'due diligence',.new owner will be allowed to take the keys of the Jets in 2022 and another new owner of the Mariners in 2024. Why 2024? because the WWC is on in 2023 and it would be too close to 2022, which has nothing to do with A League club ownership issue, yet it will be delayed for those reasons or for the sake of it. The FFA.

Thinking of this today regarding the state of football and more importantly the state of the world , if you look at what’s happening in other countries atm in regards to their sports codes , no fans , players and officials getting Covid, competitions shutting down, then we look at Australia and NZ , mostly virus free, fans allowed into games . Think of this in term of sports content for a TV network, we will have a competition we will have active support not sound effects. maybe life not that bad after all and hopefully JJ is able to sell this the networks , Optus or whoever.

A League better start looking for a new bubble as I've been saying because the borders will still be shut in eight weeks.

Last time I looked all major football competitions were proceeding despite Covid, while the A-League has taken a sabbatical for 6 months.... Elsewhere football is important to communities. Here, not so much. Given the state of the game I’m thinking the best option is to try to broker a deal so A League clubs can play in their own state NPLs next season and then work something out after that. The people currently in charge aren’t savvy enough to lobby govts or sponsors to get hubs worked out by December, so unless it’s open borders by then, we’ll have a shambles on our hands.
