Yeah well, it's sort of bred into us down here... I don't mind the footy and had to watch the gf as have been a Tigers fan forever and whe're finally winning shit after 30 odd years, but also watched Liverpool thus morning, all the mini matches on Optus (how good is optus btw, I never had Foxtel but can't imagine life without Optus now) and watched the last half of the new NPL final... not a hell of a lot else to do here in M"hell"bourne 

No, just soccer and a sort of bandwaggony fandom of AFL. Don't really like the rugbies, don't hate them or anything just they seem a little brutal for me. NFL I used to despise but I'm finding I am intrigued more and more by the strategy behind it the more I watch.....

Oh yeah agreed, not trying to dismiss rugby it's just not my cup of tea. Sort of same thing with motorsports, I love fast cars but the thought of watching Bathurst for example leaves me comatose.  I dont hate it I just don't enjoy it. 

The NSW NPL Men’s GF show cased a great advert for the competition, some great goals and good young talent as well.

you could say the same for us NSW Qld bred with NRL but as for me, I was a very casual supporter and only watch the GF and SOO but if I had something else on I wouldn't care missing watching.

Can't live without my Optus only due to Fox losing the EPL.

NRL GF was kind of comse comsa - still pissed they could have 40k people and only 1000 odd to the PL GF here yesterday.

Jut got rid of Foxtel & that to me meant no more AFL thankfully.

At least you guys got to see a full(ish) season up there in NSW, we got 4 rounds and then the NPL was shut down. Have been missing live soccer badly. We have to wait till Feb/March now, hopefully all these restrictions are lifted so we can get back to the grounds again. I am hoping for a great season next year, a lot of our boys have been loaned out to other states NPL clubs so at least they are a little sharper than the rest, but who knows. Just want to see a ball kicked in anger again :)
