Easts and the All Stars game 

(once upon a time the All Stars game was a cricket score but in recent years there’s been some great games) 

Adelaide are playing Adelaide Blue Eagles next Wednesday.

Macarthur won their first friendly 6-0 last weekend.

I was going to the Easts game but the last two season games were washed out and rearranged for 7th and 14th .... longest season ever!! 

ACL will be SFC's pre season games and I expect the same goes for others involved.
Suppose the rest of players staying back will join in other games arranged.

A smurf told me that SFC played the CCM on Saturday. Smurfs 5.  CCM 2

NSW’s and Victorian sides going to get an advantage by being able to play other A-League sides - Glory, Roar and Adelaide could all suffer a bit of a slow start as a result 

It was a game of three 30 min halves (or thirds). The final score was 5-3 with lots of player rotations on both sides. Behind closed doors for training purposes.

An Australian playing in Malaysia died after being struck by lightning during a training session a few years back.

Putting players, refs, coaches and spectators at risk would be totally needless and idiotic. Calling it off was the right call.

Macarthur are playing at Campbelltown stadium tomorrow in a friendly? Is that right?  They have a member fan day and it says they will play a match but not sure against who.

Not tomorrow, they are lining up that friendly after the Olyroo match, date not set just yet.

A little off topic, but with the decisions yesterday made by the national cabinet, and the subsequent announcements by WA Premier Mc Gowan the Aleague should just about be free to plan 2021 fixtures unencumbered. Maybe even Welly may be free to move about too, come 27 December.

Hopefully club owners and FFA can get their act together to make this a memorable season of exciting football.
