Hope the captaincy grows on Mauk. If he had jobbed someone, he might of got to be captain-coach. Ross has the job of diplomacy in going forward.

Going to be interesting to see if the responsibility mutes his behaviour. I hope so - we haven't seen the best of him yet.

Listening to the presser yesterday, it seems like Veart wants a South Australian captain. Jakobsen will still be a leader around the dressing room tho.

Elsey and Halloran were appointed vice captains.

Very happy for Mauk.  A hothead at times, but seems to give his all regardless of the team he plays for.
