Ange and Rogic saying his ankle isn't the best but hope it's not too bad. Just got to wait for the scans tonight as the plane leaves soon.

I'm fed up with Mooy, Maclaren and Leckie though. I like Irvine but he's also on thin ice for me. If anything, the chances were slim to begin with. I think this could be a very interesting experiment to start Genreau and Metcalfe and get the future going. They're going to be our players eventually. Unfortunately I can't see Arnold getting the set up optimised for our new talents to thrive. A headache less would be nearly putting McGree down as a winger for the future in order to let our new midfielders play.

Well you could say mooy and mclaren could be playing at a higher level then they are now.

Atkinson with 83 mins, assist & 2nd highest rating on FotMob. Starting to get back to his best & proving the doubters wrong.

How good is this: An AUSSIE manager being crowned champion of a European league! 🏆🇦🇺 In 20 years, Anthony Limbrick has gone from coaching 5-year-olds to earning a ticket to the UEFA Champions League. 25 matches. 20 wins. 1 loss. 24 POINTS CLEAR. Now, he's chasing a team who took a world record from Johan Cruyff's Ajax. And he's done it all with one of the most unique clubs on the continent. 'We know no one likes us' 👀 https://watchoptus.tv/Limbrick-Wales-Champion

I see today on their website that Brescia sacked Filippo Inzaghi on Tuesday. No reason given but in their last 5 games they have gone from being in the automatic promotion spots to now being in the playoff places, with 7 games left in the season. They have brought back a former manager, Corini, presumably as stop-gap but that hasn't actually been said. Hopefully this guy might give Karacic more of a chance than he got under Inzaghi, especially as the club obviously wants to gain promotion this year.

Tbf karacic was starting most matches recently so hopefully it continues

+xMass Luongo starting. Burgess starting. Luongo scores a goal as well. A mystery he wasn't picked in the squad. Been in great form & playing number 6

Didn't Luongo score the first goal of the Arnie era? He was part of the Asian Cup squad too. I'm glad to newbies are getting the exposure but this window would've been a good one to see him with Dougall or Genreau. Metcalfe is going to get better.

+xMass Luongo starting. Burgess starting. Good to see Burgess starting. Certainly had a decent English career. Ex club SKunthorpe (written for a funny reason) we're very happy with him. Sadly they're done this year. He's played 160 games and I wish he were available for the dead rubber.

+xLuongo with goal and assist Another that should have played over Metcalfe and Stennss. Any of him, Holland or Isais would have been a good midfield 2 for that game. Or Jeggo.

Pretty crazy when you look at throwing the young players to the lions when Luongo and Holland's abundance of experience would've offered a lot more in the middle.

I'm 100% sure if Luongo and Holland playing against Japan , it wouldn't get ugly like this. If U Wana give young players experience U organise a friendly game and let them play. Grant and King are a big mistake there also. I d rather have Davidson and Karacic

Grant and King are a big mistake there also. I d rather have Davidson and Karacic I felt King faired very well and kept Ito at bay the vast majority of times. He certainly didn't trust himself to get forward and perhaps he was instructed to stay back. Having Atkinson and Elder would've seen a higher level and more aggressive attacking approach. Our selections were way too timid.
