+x+xCrazy night in League 1. Wednesday win giving themselves a good shot at making Playoffs. Sunderland with a handy point. Only Wycombe can jump in place of Wednesday, Plymouth or Sunderland. shame neither of them got automatic promotion however at least we could have a them both fighting out for promotion. questions is what would be better for the socceroos, wright in championship or luongo? Yeah good question, we're light on in CB & CDM stocks ATM. Probably Mass, as he's injury free & playing great football at CDM for Wednesday - he got an assist as well overnight.

Another deflection goal for McGree it seems but they all count. 4 years to the day of his scorpion kick.

2 is 2 is massive for his confidence and the confidence of the manager to keep picking him. If they can scrape into the 6 he should play a big part

Rogic has been nominated along with Callum McGregor, Craig Gordon and Regan Charles-Cook, for the Scottish League's Player of the Season, along with also being nominated for Goal of the Season.
Huge achievement by the big man. Been a long time since an Australian Won a player of the season in Europe. Last i can think of was Nathan Burns in the Greek 2nd league and Ersan Golum in Turkish 2nd league. Did Brad Meredith win a POTS?! The last Aussie player to win a POTS in a top flight was Viduka in the 99/00 SPL season for Celtic.

Boyle through to the next ACL stage
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

2 is 2 is massive for his confidence and the confidence of the manager to keep picking him. If they can scrape into the 6 he should play a big part PLAYER TO WATCH – Riley McGree (Middlesbrough) It was a vital win for Middlesbrough over Cardiff in their game in hand this midweek. Boro closed to within two points of the play-off spots with two games to go and with a very fair wind could find themselves back in the top six going into the final day. There had been a real fall-off going into the Cardiff game with Boro not having won any of their previous five games, scoring only one goal in the process. Although Boro did hit two goals at the Riverside against Cardiff, we have to go back to the game at Peterborough at the start of the month for the last time one of their strikers scored. Strangely enough on that day three of Middlesbrough’s strikers scored but midfielders have got the goals to pick up these recent four points that could perhaps reignite a play-off push. Against Cardiff, Marcus Tavernier drove in the first and Riley McGree sealed the result with a deflected second. McGree was also on target in the previous game against Swansea and seems to be influencing games from a central midfield spot. It will be interesting to see what Chris Wilder’s solution in midfield is for the home game against Stoke this weekend, with McGree giving the manager a useful selection headache. Matt Crooks will be returning from suspension after picking up fifteen yellow cards for the season and completing a three game ban. It speaks volumes about Boro’s striker issues that Crooks is their top scorer from midfield with eight goals, but this may well be the key for Boro over the remaining games. Goals from midfield, an in-form McGree, a returning Crooks could see Boro turning the screw during these final two games. This is from the Football 365 website.

Will be a tight finish to make promotion play-offs for mcgree. 2 points off 2 games left. Need Sheffield United to lose 1 of their 2 and then win both to get 6th

Fair red. Alot of emotion, hopefully doesn't get seen as a detriment.

+xthey did score after he came on, time to call him up playing same level as half our team and he's a striker. Played ONE game. We all know he’s a huge talent but he’s so so raw. Give him some time to develop. Kusini Yengi was further ahead in his development last season and no one is calling for him to be called up

Borrello bench. No Iredale due to an operation on jaw. Not sure if injury or just something that needed doing.

+xBig day for Brescia. Karacic bench. Circati starting. Wednesday concede early but have decent cards. And Wednesday up 3 - 1 at half time. My team look for the drop (Gillingham) down 1 - 0 at half time and need a win.
