Looks like he is 62. Scored two in the second half.  Both nice moves

Nice fingers crossed he comes good and wants to play with us

According to this article Souttar is still months away, doesn’t sound like he’ll get many (or any) games before WC

Also - Jacob italiano is training with Gladbach’s first team. First time that’s happened since 2019

I'm sad about Souttar probably not gonna make it in time for the World Cup. However, I then imagine him fit and at a 110% at the Asian Cup, and It makes me giddy.

hopefully volpato starts playing and we offer him a chance to play at WC - would be hard to resist. But Italy might come calling before us.

Souttar did his ACL in November. It's now July. I know you've got to be careful but he's certainly on the longer recovery time.

Italiano not in Gladbach squad today. It's really time to stop being led on and move away. The reserve team is a waste of time where he hardly plays and if so gets out at left back. These clubs develop the few but a lot get hindered in their crucial stage and need to break away and get regular games. The Eredivisie has that many former top 3 youth products and I just hope they broke away as soon as it was clear they weren't meant for greatness.

He's heading down the Pasquali, Laws route.

Taggart came on at 59, scored on 63. Subbed off on 75. It was for a midfielder. Likely an injury but I have some hope it was tactical to shut up shop which didn't work as Muscat's men made it 2:2 late.

one shame about germany is even buli 3 doesn't seem professional. Have we had a player go to buli 3 and improve as a player? Contrast that to how luongo in league 1 was a stand out for the asian cup

Liga 3 is steadily improving but still has a way to go. Not that it really matters but from a scheduling and admin viewpoint its the DFB who does this league while the top two leagues are manager by the DFL.

Josh Kennedy went to Stuttgarter Kickers and then Köln (being played for reserves) which was 4th tier. Some Liga 3 players advance up with their club in promotion and stablise themselves in the second tier. In England it's fairly similar and a lot in the EPL and Championship spent some time in League One or League Two. Scott Twine comes to mind going from Swindon to MK Dons now to Burnley. Ashley Westwood went straight from Crewe to Villa.

Stuttgart sign Colombian striker Juan Jose Perea from Greek side Giannina. Kuol one down the pecking order for sure. This is probably better as it'll allow him to play for the reserves instead of being 3rd choice reserve striker every week on the bench.

He was injured, looked like hamstring. Looked pretty devastated when he came off.
The red card was later in the match and also gave YFM a pen which allowed them back into the match.

Miller started in a loss for Hibernian

Got hooked at half time but according to reports had done nothing wrong. The manager wanted another player on who is noted for getting balls into the box.

Taggart started and played the first 45 in the cup against Nagoya. Looked fine after the match, so either tactical or just taking it easy.

By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

So apparently Rowles is still waiting on his work permit to join up with Hearts which is annoying.

On the plus side Atkinson played 85 minutes and devlin started and played 45.

Are players still allowed to appear in a friendly match if they don’t have the work permit? Like clubs can field trialists who they aren’t paying for example so it’s not technically ‘work’.

Actually he isn’t.
I saw a line up that had him in it but that seems to have changed.
