+x+x+x[quote]Anyone know how Lewis Miller is getting on at Hibs? Made the big move and then crickets. Couldn't find any news on him since June/July. I'd have thought his style of play would fit well in Scotland so I'd hoped he'd do well there. Apparently he's injured atm. He hasn't really been given a lot of chances at Hibs, which is really disappointing. He was probably the best RB in the a league before he left & I would've thought been in contention for the WC squad, had he been playing Rotten timing for an injury. Any idea what it was? He's been off radar for 6 months. Hamstring. Not in squad since October 1. Surely he'll be training within 3 weeks.

Right back has been problematic for the NT since Wilkshire. I liked Millers physicality in defence, someone you'd hate to play against.

So Miller hasn't actually played that much this year even before the injury. Cadden is preferred by Hibs in that RB or RWB role. It was a strange move for him when Hibs already had an established RB in Cadden who is only 26 as well.

+x+xSt Pauli have Irvine and Metcalfe returning to play at the end of January. They have sacked their coach after dropping to 15th on table. St Pauli have some friendlies coming up against Bundesliga teams according to their web site. hopefully Metcalfe gets some more minutes and under new coach. Wouldn’t they be in direct competition with each other for the no.8 spot? Pauli don't always play with 8's, sometimes just 2x 6's and high r and L mids. Metcalfe can play either role whereas Jackson is always deployed as a six. Jackson is always on because he is captain. So yes, it is difficult for Metcalfe but he was typically the first midfield substitute under timo schultz. It remains to be seen how things go with the new coach. If they get relegated, I'd say Irvine would have to leave the club. Still plenty of games to do ATM so time to secure a 2 Bundesliga position. I doubt they would be in line for promotion.

+x+xSo Tete Yengis loan is officially over from Jan 1st. Ipswich is currently going through a bit of an injury crises as well and haven't had a consistent striker for over a month. Hopefully he can get a run and possibly even a few goals for them. If that happens and Ipswich kick on the Championship beckons for him and Burgess. Ideally Bolton go up too. Charlton aren't going up this year. Heard a rumour that Mass Luongo has been trialling with Ipswich Town and likely to make the move. The Boro short-term deal hasn't worked out. A shame, had high hopes for him but seems to have already hit his peak.

+xJust annoyed at the Teague situation. Niewenhof is doing well right in front of us while others seem hard to get insight on. Not to mention these talents typically don't kick on either. Antonis, Theoharous, Italiano, Laws. At least Teague is at every Australia camp. It's pretty frustrating considering who his agent is... would love to see him back in Oz for a season on loan and push to make the AC squad or we can at least see how he compares to the other guys in the AL.

Grdic has played 13 of 17 on loan this season in the Croatian 2nd tier. I didn't realise he was still over 20. Invariably a lot won't push on for the national team, remember Susnjar? Yet there are so many exciting names it's pretty overwhelming following and wondering who will get there.

A few interesting bits of news.
Genreau has undergone groin surgery with an expected return date in February.
Behich missed for Dundee through illness and has been linked with a possible move to Galatasaray.
Devlin 2 assists from last 2 games for Hearts.
Gersbach is playing left mid for Grenoble.

+xEarly 2:0 lead for Troyes. 2:1 ahead at HT. Troyes win 3-2 I watched some of the game on Kayo after Celtic and looks like PK still has a bit of work to do. Hopefully he can get some players in this coming window. Great result and hopefully the fans can get behind him

Strain and Baccus starting. Atkinson bench. Rowles, Devlin starting in derby. No Aussies for Hibs. McGowan starting against Behich and Birighitti which is goalless after an hour. Cancar on bench.

I think Genreau will still struggle for minutes with Toulouse. He would be better suited to a loan at this point of his career IMHO. I think this lack of minutes cost him a spot at WC22.

Mooy was excellent when he came on in the old firm.
Was one of few who was composed on the ball when so many around him made sloppy errors under immense pressure. His set pieces were also very good as well, threatening.
Big result getting a 2-2 draw when Rangers looked much better in the second half.

Cam Devlin was oustanding this morning. Basically set up 2 goals - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xvUJi2xRzPw 3-0 over Hibernian. He seems much quicker than Irvine and Genreau.

+xgood highlights. Question why no game time for the NT? Devlin still isn't amazing on the ball and his passing can sometimes leave a bit to be desired. I guess Arnie probably felt it was a weakness that wouldn't have worked.

Can see why Hearts fans love Cammy, he's an absolute terrier the way he chases everything. Would love to see him get minutes for the Roos
