Atkinson subbed on at half time
watching viking. I feel like i am watching a mid rable a league match
style, crowd size, quality all the same
even a summer league on a pitch that looks like they just played rugby on it

Irvine starting. Metcalfe bench. Looks like St Pauli have preferred the two pacey wingers of late instead of the ones who can hang and veer into the centre.

Such a one sided match 18 shots to one and still 0-0
At Pauli need to win all three games since their season start sucked
The standard at the top of bulk 2 I reckon I higher than the championship playoffs
Irvine playing an attacking mid

Metcalf with the last twenty
Infuriating game with something like 20 shots to 1
That's there season you would think
Gives Metcalf's another season to establish himself in buli 2 so maybe ok

Daggers bringing in assists along with he's goals, which tells me he was under-utilised when he was at the Victory and other clubs he was with here.
Again Australian coaches not backing young Australian No.9s, attacking midfielders who play in key positions im also slowly starting to see a trend in ball playing No.6s too.
Risk adverson is becoming a problem with Australian coaches.

I can't think of any reason why he'd want to play for Guinea. On a purely selfish footballing perspective, Guinea has never played in a world cup. From a personal perspective, he's not actually Guinean - he was born in a refugee camp and his parents are Liberian. He moved to Adelaide before he was even 1 year old. One of his brothers has already represented Australia at U23 level. I reckon the Toure boys should be capped because they're just plain old talented af

But the u/20s and Olyroos will be playing in June, so hopefully getting him embedded in those camps where he links up with his close mate Irankunda and feels the pride of representing Australia makes it a no brainer for him to choose the socceroos at senior level. Guinea are currently 79th in the world, it would be a bad career move to go and play with them. Hopefully he keeps getting minutes in these last few Reims games.

Guinea seem to have some decent players too and they are a much stronger side than Liberia. Interestingly when we won the FFA Cup, Al Hassan celebrated with a Liberian flag and not a Guinean one. I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up playing for Liberia given he’s a fair way down the Australian pecking order. Also the third brother Musa was actually born in Australia which therefore makes him only eligible for Liberia and Australia. So with that being said, all 3 brothers could end up playing for 3 different countries.

Please don't send him to LAFC worst place in world for young african footballer. Hopefully loan to back to adelaide or buli 2.

Risk adverson is becoming a problem with Australian coaches. D'Agostino was a starter at Victory ahead of Fornaroli, with two wide forwards either side of him. Victory had a big role in the form that made him a Socceroo and secured his move to Norway. I wouldn't say he was underutilised.

His dad wanted him to play for Guinea. Sounds a bit like Jacynta at Celtic with Argentina. I hope we cap him.

He wouldn't be able to until he turns 18 anyway. He's going to be back in Adelaide next year and maybe moves in the Jan window as he turns 18 just after.
