I honestly think he needs to move to the A-League, and every A-League club with the cap space to get him should be on the phone ASAP. A move back to Sydney is only a good move if it doesn't affect the progression of Nieuwenhof tbh, and it'd like spell the end of Retre you'd imagine. Having seen him for Buriram: he doesn't look anything like the player he was for you guys before he departed for Pohang. His legs look gone to me, he's not covering as much ground as he used to, and his passing accuracy has dropped right off too. The passing thing can be fixed by consistent game time in a system that he's comfortable with, but if his legs are gone... that's a serious issue.

Mooy is still the best player we have - although Hrustic could overtake him in the next year or so. Leckie still getting mins in the Bundesliga & can still do a job for the Socceroos
