And Burgess. Some solid form in the championship next season should see a Roos callup. We have some real depth at CB. Souttar, Rowles, Degenek, Wright, Circati, Deng, Burgess, Triantis.

A couple others that are noteworthy. Ryan Edwards has been promoted to second tier in Spain, Gabriel Popovic to top tier in Croatia.  Edwards made a decent contribution after a January transfer.  Popovic was in and out of the team a bit.

 Ryan Edwards is an interesting one. He's always been just out of Socceroos framework and never been quite good enough whilst also having a very solid career. I think he's been tainted in Australia a bit by the fact his dad played him early on when he wasn't good enough. 

Hrustic bench vs Milan. 15 players on the Hellas Verona bench. Think Hrustic should return to Bundesliga 2. Post injury with the drive to play regularly makes it the ideal league.

Yazbek and D'Agostino bench. Stenseness starting and has scored.

Unless you are getting game time in a good league some players can waste their whole career being frozen out after an injury

Not a great night for AA - Hellas Verona/ Hrustic relegated & Viking lost. Hrustic & Yazbek both unused subs. I wonder if Arnie will pick Hrustic for the Argentina game, having not played since the WC?

Hrustic should probably stay and get game time in Serie B, but for some reason he strikes me as the type who feels he is above playing in a second division and would force a move.

I doubt Ange will take any of them but would love to be proven wrong. Maybe HK. I've been wondering if Rodgers returns to Celtic will he try to sign Rogic? I'm not sure what's going on with Rogic and whether he's even that motivated to play anymore.

There's been speculation that Celtic are interested in Muscat. Would be a controversial signing. I would like to see Leeds sign him. I think that could be a good fit for both. Perhaps Leicester could also work. Both unlikely, however.

Yazbek with another assist

That's three assists and a goal in 530 minutes at a level pretty similar to a league at age 20. Definitely could play for the olyroos if we qualify

I think qualifiers are during the Norwegian off season too
