Iredale has had such a disappointing career with injury, he had every chance to be an influential Socceroo without them. Reality is he’s going to be 25 for the start of next season. I’d prefer to see him return to mid-table Holland and score goals, the way Hrustic has.

Yeah the ACL return was solid but then a knock here and there plus a dental issue 18 months ago has slowed. He's got to get starting somewhere. It's an interesting case of a player doing a lot of good things when on the pitch so at least we know it's doable.
