+x+xLachlan Jackson 90 mins & scored a goal for Suwon broken record, but the fact a k league quality player gets 7 a league games by the age of 25 shows the need for a 2nd division Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but IMO Jackson had ample chances to establish himself at the Jets but didn't show enough consistency to displace two geriatrics (Boogard/NTS). Plus, he played 80+ A-League games for the club over six years. I wish him well, he has plenty of the right attributes.

+x+x+x+xJuric subbed on with 20 to go Huge that they recalled him and now giving him game time. Received a 6.6 and 6.5 rating on SofaScore in both his games. Hopefully there's an improvement from him in the near future, as Dinamo are not known for their patience at all, and it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if they went out and signed a striker in the coming days. Surely he gets more than a 20 min bench cameo to be judged I'm not saying I'd go out and sign a striker if it was me personally, but Dinamo are [without doubt] the biggest and best club in Croatian football, so they'd be expecting more of an impact from him regardless of how long he's given on the pitch. In the first picture where he got a 6.6 rating, he got 67' against Lokomotiva, so it wasn't just a short stint off the bench in that game. You have to remember that it's a lot more ruthless over there, and tbh: him moving to the club made no real sense in the first place. If it wasn't for an injury to Bruno Petkovic, he'd have spent the season at Šibenik, where he'd have [at least] been the focal point of their attack. The moment Petkovic is considered fit enough to play again, Juric will fall by the wayside, which is a real shame.

I've never seen someone come off the bench and get more than a 6.5 in ratings unless they score a cracker etc

He's been great for Suwon FC who are third on the table and in ACL qualifying spots. This is the same team that Djite and Leijer played for when they were yo-yo-ing between divisions.

Lachy is a good player, he is an athlete. He was always injured at the Jets hence why he never really got a real run of games.

players who get 100 games in the a league usually step up a level. Says to me the a league can't be that bad. Its our super talented but under done youth that keep getting lost

I think he is our next big prospect, very good athletically and just seems to find the back of the net...so excited to see where he is by end of season. 3 starts and 2 goals.

Rogic, Strain starting
By now, American Samoa must have realised that Australias 22-0 win over Tonga two days earlier was no fluke.

A frantic start. 1-1 after 6 minutes. Atrocious defending by celtic and they've almost let in a second. Need to control the ball and settle down.

+xJohn Iredale gone to SV Wehen Wiesbaden in liga 3 Disappointing at 22 he needs to be showing more That's good. An upgrade from the 4th tier and Paderborn weirdly kept recruiting more and more after getting Iredale early. He did his knee at age 20 and his league was pretty much cancelled due to Covid so it's been two years lost. 4 years until he's 26 so time yet.

Liam Chipperfield was on Basels bench for their Europa conference playoff. They went through on pens.
Also I might be off but looking around games this season there seems to be a ton of Japanese players getting games at mid tier European clubs

Alou Kuol if he keeps it up he might be playing in the Bundesliga sooner rather than later, a great start over there.

Nice to see Kuol starting well but I don't buy into any hype. He started the season great for CCM, then went missing for more than half the season.
Let's see how he goes after a full season.

Huge match for Kev at 8pm AEST time tomorrow against Kashima Antlers, a chance to go top over Kawasaki Frontale who just had their 30 game undefeated streak ended.

England just named their u21’s team for games in the international window. No sign of Robertson. Unsure whether that’s his age group or not but with the utmost of respect to him it’s fairly unlikely he makes the England side.

+x+x+xHas anyone got any idea what's happened to karacic? He wasn't even on the team sheet for either the cup game or first match for Brescia. He's probably on the way to the Socceroos camp - game against China is a week away There was nothing online anywhere about his absence. A Czech player named Mateju has played RB the past two games, fingers crossed it doesn't mean he will struggle to get a game. From all reports he was very strong for Brescia last season. Fran Karacic again not in the squad for the game against Cosenza tomorrow. No mention of him on the club website since 11 August, when he was noted as being "differentiated" in the training for that day (whatever that means). Hopefully he's missing because of injury rather than because this season's manager does not rate him. I watched the game last week and Mateuj (RB) was tidy enough against fairly moderate opposition, without doing anything particularly eye-catching.

Europa League draw done.
Ange gets Bayer Leverkusen, Real Betis and Ferencvaros.
Ryan gets Monaco, PSV and Sturm Graz. Maybe he'll get rotated in for some of these games.
Hrustic is up against Olympiacos, Fenerbache and Royal Antwerp.
Degenek and Mabil are in the same group with Braga and Ludogorets.
