+x+xThe 6.30 kick offs on Friday nights are killing the Adelaide crowds.. plus, of course, the team is rubbish. I really don't get why they are 6:30 now. Has anyone mentioned why? How much conflicting live sport do Fox have at that time that half an hour later makes a difference? That extra half hour is vital travel time on a work night. Well there you go: We are pleased to confirm, following feedback and successful negotiations with the Australian Professional Leagues, that kick-off for our match with Newcastle Jets on Friday, 5 March will be pushed back to 7:05pm. The later kick-off time will allow more Adelaide United members and fans to attend with additional time between work, school or community commitments and the match. The later kick-off time will allow more Adelaide United members and fans to attend with additional time between work, school or community commitments and the match. This change will be for the remainder of the season, which means all mid-week and Friday night games will now kick-off at 7.05pm ACDT. Has always been half hour difference. And 7pm Adelaide time is at least 6:30 in Brisbane which is better than 6pm for a tv kick off too I'd have thought

The Melbourne Storm crowd at AAMI looks like the biggest in Victoria of any code since the start of the pandemic.

So something like 14,500?

Well it looks like that with an average of just over 5k, the days of the A League as we know it are numbered.
NSL anyone?

Meh other countries get that number at their games. Clubs need to find other ways to get money

Today: 3,573 at Gosford 1,920 at AAMI for WU v Roar
not the best numbers you're ever likely to see, but we can't judge until we have a whole season completely free of COVID. Looking at that WU attendance, I'm thinking that's the first time we've been under 2k since the Gold Coast days. That it would happen in Melbourne is probably not something we ever thought was possible, and they were both top 4 teams at that point.

The attendance at Gosford yesterday was actually a good attendance with close to 50 mm of rain in a day. Actually it was close to their rusted on number of about 5000. So i say Western United are dragging the league down. Another Gallop f*** up

This is higher than the 7636 that the NRL got at Kogarah for a local derby between St George and the Sharks.

It’s not like sub 2k turned up because of crowd caps or anything. South v Oakleigh got more on Friday and that clashed with City at AAMI.

I saw on twitter than some Vic NPL sides are getting bettter attendances than WU, which is extraordinary.

Been a while since there has been good news for attendance but well done to Adelaide United’s w league team. They broke the w league attendance record with a crowd over 5k
