lose so this should be a really good game. Can’t see ROD not scoring tonight - he Roar left under a cloud  and will have something to prove. 

They'll be tired and desperate for sure. Can see a red coming out for sure. 
After Roy's performance the other night, I'm not sure I can see him ever scoring again. Yuel and Najjarine I'm worried about for sure though. 

ROD looks to me to be a player who really needs to retire. He'll need a tap in to score. He just looks done. 

I'm worried that the Jets are about to click. I just hope it isn't in this game. 

Surely Brisbane win, but Jets can't keep losing...or can they? 

I watched these two in the preseason game and Brisbane were dominant in the first half but could only put one away. Jets seemed to figure us out towards the end of the first half and were the better team in the second.

if we can convert our chances then we should steam role them but we haven't really clicked up front yet. hopefully we see a bit of Matsu and he make a difference for us.

Newcastle are a bit of our bogy team so i would not be surprised if we struggle though

This is one of those odd fixtures where the away team usually wins. 

Even without that oddity, Brisbane are hot favourites and should win. I just can't see where the goals are gonna come from for the Jets.

No Young is a massive blow, fortunately jets have zero firepower. No doubt Roy will score though.

Is Joey Champness unavailable because he's on loan from Newcastle? Not sure why he wouldn't be on the bench otherwise, he's played on?

Can't see any other reason why he wouldn't be playing.

Yuel is the first player to have scored more than one goal this season.

It's really surprising it has taken someone so long to do that and I don't think anyone expected the first to be Yuel.

Odd stat. To be fair, the commentators have been saying ad nauseum that "once he scores one, the floodgates will open." Happy to see it, because O'Donovan doesn't look like scoring much.

DWH should've had a tap-in. Brown not sliding it to the far post as common sense would dictate.  To be fair I think he wanted to but the execution was atrocious..
