Melbourne City are playing some great stuff at the moment. For all the early negative comments, Paddy is proving an astute tactician. To me he has the most complete squad in the A League, which is helping get results. Thing is though, its on the pitch that points are won, and MC are doing the business.

At the moment, the top 4 is likely to be CCM, MC, WSW and PG, not necessarily in that order. A big test for that scenario will be Wednesday's game between PG and SFC. Am I calling the demise of SFC too early?

Early days there was calls that the side was disjointed and didn't respect him with it's lack of discipline so I think there's still time it could quickly go either way.

Tbf he's doing a far better job than rock bottom Warren Joyce. He was the worst thing to ever happen to that club and it's potential fanbase.

An EPL player and two Socceroos in his front line. Some of the best youth in the comp and good foreigners can make anyone look good. He's doing very well. But on paper that team, don't even tell me the coach and ill tell you they should be a threat to win the title. Takes years for a coach to establish themselves. He's off to a good start I'll say.

He inherited a pretty solid squad including a proven striker that scores consistently. His test will come once he starts losing players and needs to rebuild and replace key players.

Currently 2nd on the all time A-League coaches ladder.

Not bad.

* First place is Littbarski, who got a "boost" by getting to coach Sydney FC in the OCL in 2005 with 5 easy wins against Oceanian clubs. Take those 5 matches out and Kisborbo would be first.

on paper we've had a great squad for a number of years.  the difference needed is the quality of management.

The great squad where you had to use Riley McGree as a striker? You haven't had a great squad since the Aaron Mooy Fornaroli days.

On paper Adelaide have a good squad...1 former la-liga decade player, 3 or 4 possible socceroos, best young strikers in the game coming through... doesn't mean anything.

if the coach cant get the setup right it the squad list doesn't mean anything...

The only thing that makes me doubt Kisnorbo is that he sounds like the work experience kid when interviewed.

Who knows, that might be his way of keeping his cards against his chest, but he doesn't come across as a genius.

Can't argue with his results though. Must know how a football team works.

Warren Joyce could have used Bruno Fornaroli if he wanted to, but he was an idiot. Which proves the point being made.
