+x+xI'm expecting a goat track next week More like a rice field trampled by water buffalo. I'm not expecting a classic that's for certain. Why would Vietnam serve you a pitch like that? They depend on technique players more than is. This is post is actually quite offensive. Have you ever been to a Vietnam?

+xI found the studio panel with Millsy, Brosque & Georgia bland and really boring. Hopefully it is not the way for the whole 10/ Paramount broadcast go for every other things. Me too. Really stock-standard stuff but it's early days, hopefully they'll grow into it but I think from the pundits thy've signed on they need a "character" like to liven things up.

Seems like 10 has a 4minute highlight video but not the full replay. How hard is it to upload the full game?
EDIT: mini match is up now too. Hopefully the full game isn't too far away.

+x+xSainsbury, Souttar, Irvine, Hrustic set the tempo The spine was very composed even under early pressure I thought Rogic lost possession far to often and drifted in and out of the game I like Taggart and want him to do well but Duke just offers more in general play and I think will offer more against better opposition Rogic was the key to the opening of the Chinese back line, did 3 of 4 through balls perfectly weighted, and on more than 1 occasion turned a flat pass in to forward momentum. yep, the pass to Boyle for the second goal wasn't "classic" as such, but kept the momentum going and had their defence on the back foot, which resulted in a relatively easy shot for Boyle. Mind you, the positioning of the Chinese keeper was poor also, probably helped by the crispness of the attack. So often the simple things done well are the difference between winning and losing.

I thought the anchor for Channel 10 did a reasonable job of managing the talk and the show. Good to see. On another note, Breakfast ABC no mention of the result. Very poor.

Good game and the winning streak continues. Hrustic just seems to get better/more comfortable in the national team. I think Duke should be starting ahead of Tags.
On a different note, I watched some of Japan v Oman last night and the commentator sounded like a troll from a kids medieval movie. Made Speed sound eloquent.

+xSlept through and couldn't find any on demand options on 10Play at all, oh well, I'll take the win! Yeah what's the go with this? The only way for me to watch the socceroos is to get up at 3am on a weekday?

+x+xCan hope China learn a bit from these and provide nuisance value to the others. Next up they are at home to Japan. Both teams with a lot to prove. Would be nice if China could sneak a draw out of it. That'll be in Qatar as well.

Team for Vietnam
Ryan Strain Sainsbury Souttar Elder Mooy Hrustic Arzani McGree Mabil Taggart
I think Boyle is out. Maybe Jeggo or Dougall could start with their stamina and Hrustic can turn it on late.

Arnie just said we were "fantastic". High praise from a generally restrained coach.

The conditions generally and the pitch particularly were great for Australia’s game. Really helped the ball speed and with good first touches. Will be interesting to see how it compares with Vietnam next week.

Elder looks like a beast. I think the spot will become his to lose. Been slightly disappointed with behich of late. Great result. Hrustic is next level

Arnie seems to have the boys playing for each other and the team performance is reflective of that. Great coaching from the top.

Think we can all safely say we would have taken a 3-0 before the game. Great start.

Pleased with Taggart's performance, but glad my man Mitch got the third goal. Both have the opportunity these two windows to cement their place at the top of the pecking order and shut Jamie Mclaren out.
