Its hard to post snippets here but basically the A League had a 20% loss of revenue but not much in way of loss of profit. Not sure if this is clubs or league, and how much the revised TV deal had to do with it. The A League seasons were pretty much before both major outbreaks so we were lucky to that end

Not sure if Melbourne Victory were the best club or just the selected club

Less kids are playing sport as no doubt the change in social patterns during the pandemic have pushed more people into virtual activities such as school and socialising. A real blow


I think states will fair differently with Victoria being the worse. As this hit all age levels it wont just be a 2 year production gap but damage across all levels in the generation. Victoria will be behind in sport for a while at the local level, professional level doesnt matter because we just buy players anyway
