Bugger I’ll have to get Stan sports. I thought the champions league was getting stale boy was I wrong 

stale, been some great Group games let alone Final 32 final 16 final 8 final 4 now the last 2 standing :)
I never get sic of watching talent like we see at this level despite alot of the usual suspects, thats the game and all sports but Football is heaven of them all imo and when you see so much talent at those levels.

Must say, I only watch round of 32 onwards these days, unless LFC or Panathinaikos is in of course... Your right it is the "greatest show on earth" for all the talent, but there is something about week in week out club football that makes it more appealing..... 

Not having the Final on Channel 9 feels like a missed opportunity tbh.

Yeah Stan is a no brainer but how the hell do we watch the FA Cup final???? Its criminal its not on FTA in Australia.

Maybe no one bought the FTA rights to the final, although channel 10 / Paramount may show it on both platforms if allowed.

How to watch FA Cup matches in Australia

It was announced on 20 October 2021 that ViacomCBS, owner of Network Ten, 10play and streaming partner Paramount Plus, had secured the rights to the FA Cup starting with the 2021/22 competition.

The company then revealed the FA Cup would only be shown on 10play and none of its other platforms in Australia. That was up until the quarter finals where Paramount Plus now have exclusive FA Cup rights in Australia.

and the only reason why I subscribed come the FACup semis for it was the only way to watch barring going the live stream path.

Oh well, go reds. Will be the first time in a long long time I miss the FA Cup final....

Nah mate, watching with a few mates, one of them is a tech nerd and has some sort of hd projector set up with BBC stream .... None of us want to even give Paramount our email addresses to set up a free trial and be one of the thousands of poor suckers that will be data mined just so some cockhead at Viacom can add more " soccer consumers" to his spreadsheets.....

You could say that Americanism is the culture of the late 20th century & the 21st century the world lives in, whether we like it or not, hence why Qatar is hosting the WC, the Glaziers owning Man U, The LA dodgers owning Chelsea, the Super league proposal, Arabs owning big clubs, Germans Spaniards & Italians coaching the top clubs in England & I could go on & on. Money talks unfortunately & talks loudly.

Oh look no doubt about it its all about the money and who's got it but they are in the ball game on the pitch.
Talking Football specifically (excl the possible SL) at least all those leagues/owners mentioned are in P/R comps, whilst they are invested that way at least were seeing dog eat dog on table ladders that makes for good viewing and participation no matter which way you look to view.

To clarify my "americanism" quote, they are not like europeans and we know, all their sports are so american how they are set up and presented just as watching the Miami F1 over the weekend.
It was just meh to suit the possible growing audience, not the OS general public but its all about the future $ just as FIFA taking ME $$ for the coming WC you mention.
Yep its the path we/consumers have to stomach, the rich getting more control and the ongoing consilidation in many many varying Industries.
