Most pleasing to me was he invested because of the academy and plans to expand the academy.
What many Australian Football fans have I believe at best a little knowledge of is what the academy means and represents to us... to Mariners fans the academy is the key to our club and something we are most proud of, and the academy is a much loved part of who we are as a club.. second would be community involvement....
Richard Peil, says he wants to do both....
Its like we found and investor / owner who understands what we stand for and what we want to be as a club... in this regard he could be our best signing on decades...
