Central Coast have signed full-back/winger Trent Millard from Brisbane's youth team on a scholarship deal. He seems to be a like-for-like for Sasha Kuzevski who is currently out with a long-term injury.

Ryan Williams and Jordan Elsey have both had their contracts mutually terminated so they can go to India.

I feel bad for Ross and Stanton because they've gone into jobs where most of the squad has already been assembled and don't have the means to adequately strengthen them.

Might not be as bad as it seems. It's only a problem if the other clubs decide to splash the same amount of cash they have in the past. Right now it looks like the opposite. Nobody is spending any money. I'm predicting a lot of youth players being promoted throughout the league and less visa players. Probably plenty of marquee spots left vacant as well.

I worry we'll lose more fans Decent pedigree visa players have never grown the market of fans. Think a lot of people would rather get around a team of young local kids so in 5-10 years time when some of them are killing it overseas we can feel like we were part of the journey. It also is the best way to generate cashflow.

Ffs I'm picking Brisbane av attendance to drop below 4k this season. It may be go under and, seriously, that may be a good thing.

We've got Gamulka, Trewin that can play that position and that young Ince looked decent at the u17 Asian Cup. I'd rather they took a punt on some of the younger players in the NPL team, than bringing Caletti back.

Ngl I do think Trewin will end up playing CB this year given the only other CB’s you have are an ageing Aldred and Neville as well as Nilolovski who hasn’t made his debut yet

Mariners have just announced the signing of a young LB from Roar NPL team. RIP Roar. I'll support them to the end, but I'd rather watch Adelaide, WSW or Mariners play.

If the Mariners can turn things around why not the Roar.Yes you need an owner or owners willing to put some money in and then surely with a whole state you can develop an excellent academy system and feed young players into the first team squad. You do need some money to attract good overseas playes such as the Mariners did with Cumdingo and Tulio.Even prior to Ange's time there were plenty of good young players at the Roar and from what I heard there were some connections with the Netherlands so there should be some young Dutch players who need game time and experience. Also your little Brazilian ex-player Henrique surely has some contacts back in his homeland and possibly that is another source.

Former Watford U23 player Jordan Harrison has joined Saudi club Al Fateh. He was born in Riyadh so is considered a local player.

Behich has been in Australia and seemingly hasn't featured for Dundee United yet so a move is highly likely.

Bit of chatter Rogic is training at Reading. I think he's not keen on reaching heights and just enjoying his football.

+xBit of chatter Rogic is training at Reading. I think he's not keen on reaching heights and just enjoying his football. When you consider he was a Futsalroo and a Nike Academy contestant in his late teens/early 20's I think he'd be pretty chuffed with his career. Great talent, technically gifted 'baller which comes with the exposure to Futsal. Unfortunately, he never had the engine/physicality to make it at the highest grade in the game.

City have confirmed the signing of Marin Jakolis on loan. It turns out that he does have Australian citizenship and his father lived in Melbourne for 15 years.

CCM have brought Noah Smith back to the club. This surely means that Farrell will be playing LCB this season, with Smith being McGarry’s back-up at LB.

Cue an excellent season for him, always happens when MV let players go. Granted he went to Brisbane in between....but still! We saw it with Storm Roux also.

Mariners have signed 23 year old Brazilian right back Mikael Doka.
Really weird signing given he most recently was playing on loan in the Brazilian Serie D and they also have Roux and Millard in that position already.

Perhaps with Moresche leaving they needed someone who could talk to Tulio? But this guy could be a Beni replacement too.

I've got to check the team lists but Roar and Glory almost seem to have no one. I know I'm exaggerating but it feels like a window of mass movement. Just hope all those young players we saw in gold the past 8 weeks can advance not to mention a lot of other local talent.
