+x+xJosh Laws has signed a three year deal with Grasshopper in the top tier in Switzerland That is a very random move, especially as he struggled to hold down a starting spot in a struggling Wellington defence After seeing Daggers and Yengi go overseas and basically kill it playing in a different position... I'm convinced most aussie coaches are clueless.. great club to go to as young player.

Does anyone remember Louis Khoury, the former Man City and Blackburn youth player?
He has signed for Nejmeh in Lebanon and I believe he is counted as a local player too.

Yep remember he was highly regarded at Blackburn in their youth set-up. Never worked out so he came back to Australia a few years back. Still only 22.

Melbourne City have signed Hamza Sakhi on loan from Auxerre with an option to buy.
He will become the first Moroccan to ever play in the A-League.

Wouldn't be surprised if they are utitlising the junior marquee exemption as well. Like plenty of other clubs do, they probably just backload contracts to make it fit.

+xGrasshoppers Zürich seem pretty keen to loan in Mabil. That would be a great move for Mabil. It's about his peak level but also a good league. I'd like to see more Aussies in the Swiss league. I feel like Switzerland, Belgium, Netherlands and Turkey have been good leagues for Aussies over the years.

If Yengi keeps banging them in for Portsmouth he'd have to be a shout for a NT call up. There aren't too many in form number nines for Australia right now.

He's been in and out of the Viking team but good to see him score. He was a number nine at Victory. What role is he playing at Viking?

Im getting that sort of thinking with Aussie coaches too, watching Jonny Yull play so high as a No.10 for Adelaide was baffling given he wants to get on the ball as much as possible.

The reason he and Alagich played as a 10 was because Clough was unavailable and we had no one else to play there.

And yet Clough was the most advanced of the three midfielders… We didn’t play our usual double pivot against Northcote, probably because they are a mid-table NPL 2 team. There’s no doubt that if we were playing a stronger team, we would have and he would have partnered Isaias.

Absolutely dead on Watts, Rogic and Souttar chatter. Watts has got to find a club. Rogic is probably fishing or baking, no idea. Souttar's situation is annoying.

Part of me reckons Rogic will miss a full season of football and then sign for the new Canberra A-League team in 12 months time.

Will Wilson has left Victory for CCM. I'm bummed as I wanted to see him play a lot this year for Victory. I think this is probably a good move if he's a starter at CCM. A real talent but very raw. CCM have a good development track record. Victory in recent years not so much.
