+xReally bizarre Souttar's plight. Absolutely no way in the world he is not good enough for Championship. In fact from what I recall of last season he was regularly Leicester's best when he played. Fairly convinced he is Premier League level. He literally was the best CB in the Championship when he was at Stoke.

Clubs weren't lining up for him in the last transfer window. There has to be a reason for that.

The aussie entitlement ceases to amaze me, maybe the coach doesn’t rate him or they think he’s not that good for them who knows what’s going on behind doors but either way this happens in the football business unfortunately.
I’m sure he will look for a move somewhere if he can’t get a chance or he could work he’s way into the starting 11 too.

Victory have signed Fabian Monge who was on trial with the club. Presley Ortiz has also been on trial with them.

Other triallists that I'm aware of are Riley Warland at Perth and Oliver Randazzo at Newcastle.

Belgium has two more days for deals and reports Anderlecht want Vestergaard. Liege could do with Souttar for a year. Doyle with a poor game against Hull at weekend.

I'll preface this by saying I know this is crazy and I'm being unashamedly parochial ....
.... Tottenham has just loaned out Sanchez and have very minimal depth at CB. I'd love to see Souttar get a mutual at Leicester and join Tottenham as a free agent. I reckon it would benefit everyone.

Except for the fact that they won't be able to register him until January as he was contracted to another club when the window closed

+xD'arrigo has signed with Polish club Lechia Gdańsk Oh cool. Good place to hopefully play every week for a season or two then it's off west. Excellent city to live in too.

Besiktas now linked with Souttar. Turkish window open until 15th. A loan there would be so much better than a Saudi loan. Saudi hasn't been mentioned but it's a place that could sort the wage question.
Vestergaard asking for too much so it seems Anderlecht have backed off.

It's strange that if a contract is terminated and a player is a free agent that they would be restricted in moving clubs.

I know he really wanted to go to Europe but unless you are good enough to play at a higher level (and he currently isn’t), then you may as well stay in Australia.

Could be a great move for Harry if it comes off. Last time I looked, Turkish league did seem to love tall CBs. And Besiktas seemed to be set up a lot to play on the counter, admittedly that was a fair while ago. Don't know about now but am hopeful about this.

+xThe ins for the a league this year are a bit uninspiring And that's being generous. Although there is still 6 weeks before the season starts, there is nothing going on. Every single club has significant holes in their squads, some have holes all over the park. We are seeing a lot of youth getting promoted. Could be the clubs are trying to lock down more youth player contracts as they know the NST will be a far better option for them next year. If I were a young player I'd much rather be in the starting XI for an NST club than being a bench player at an AL club. Both AL and NST will be paying professional salaries so may as well be at the one were you actually get to play.

+xThe ins for the a league this year are a bit uninspiring Good. More local youngsters. The footy codes appeal to their communities because they use local players that people know and want to support (even if the majority are overpaid, coked-up, revenge porn wankers). Less washed up foreigners on expensive travel trips, more actual ambitious younger Australians.
He was a man of specific quirks. He believed that all meals should be earned through physical effort. He also contended, zealously like a drunk with a political point, that the third dimension would not be possible if it werent for the existence of water.

We need players like berosha and broich otherwise nobody will watch
