Rumour going around that Diego Caballo will sign for Segunda Division side CD Lugo.

Interestingly that Sydney signed him from a third-tier Spanish side and that he’s going up a league after playing here, not to mention that he didn’t even play that well at Sydney.

Maybe the gap between the Segunda Division and the A-League is fairly minimal?

Lugo were just relegated from Segunda Division. They will play in the third tier next season, Primera Federacion.

Overseas based players Iain Ramsay and Antonis Martis have returned to Australian shores by signing for Rockdale and Sutherland respectively. North of the border, Josh Brindell-South has returned to his former club Lions FC after his release from Brisbane Roar.

After retiring from pro football, NTS has joined NNSW club Lambton Jaffas while another ex-Glory and Jets player Mitch Oxborrow has joined WA club Olympic Kingsway.

And finally in Victoria, Pierce Clark has gone to Heidelberg while Western United duo Ajak Deu and Ben Collins have joined St Albans and Melbourne Knights respectively.
