its just another game fellas, nerves are a good omen - at the girls feet from koff. I'm amped and hope they perform to expectations of the occasion, no ET or pens please lets do it normal time but the opponent will lift for this one and Reece out a bonus. Chanting has been cringy here for decades, the conservative aussies of the past never could grasp it, infact I never recall anything of it when I was younger.

Odd that Ellie can whip in a throw like that like a defacto corner kick, it's planned, yet besides a player in space, we don't appear set up for that? Would think we'd get a second player a few metres down before the receiver's feet, bring the ball to ground and have a bash at goal.

It's letting a defender squeezed up against the goal line just walk the ball straight past you. Schoolgirl stuff. Free player taking the shot is unmarked because nobody in a million years thinks that ball is staying in if the defender did her job

Too much going long to out numbered players
Better in the last 5 minutes of the half with more combination going forward.
England have definitely deserved their lead but it is only 1 goal, can be turned around.

Our crossing and corners are terrible other than Catleys cross at the end of the half. Dunno how you fix that at half time. Kerr and Fowler are picking up the ball in our half.
Forget the straight long balls, work our combinations on the wings and press their CBs, with Vine on soon for Raso.
Time for Tony to earn his money.

We need more possession time in the attacking third opening up spaces and angles with faster lateral ground ball movement there. England's defence will block looped crosses all night long, and it locks Mary out of the game entirely. If the ball isn't at her feet then she may as well not be in the team.
