I see Amlani Tatu, Feyzo Kasumovic and Malual Nichola have signed professional contracts at Adelaide. More good work from the Reds. I really rate Tatu and Kasumovic in particular.  

In an i terview they said the coach really rates Souttar. Also, wasn't Sheffields defence record breakingly bad last year in the Prem? It'll be horrible if he doesn't play but it feels likely he will.

Still 10 weeks to go before the season starts, so we should still some movement here and there. I predict we won't see any new marquee contracts though. Budgets will be used up making up for the lack of grant money.

I get more excited about outward transfers

Our wage budget is between league 1 and league 2 which is roughly the level for which any competent academy should be able to produce 2-3 players per years. So we could in principle never hire a player again and maintain ohr current level

Doue has rejected a move to Bayern and Coman seems to be leaving. This nudges Irankunda a slot or two ahead. 

Some talk that Olise has a bit of an attitude and this could be a clash with Kompany. You've got to remember how Kompany was as a player; he won't take shit. Olise should be fine however but it'll be interesting viewing.

I wish Newcastle would just offer him up for loan for nothing and cover 100% of his wages, the way I used to offer players up on Football Manager. They surely are fine in the cash department and there's got to be a league one level club looking for an attacking winger?!?

A few AL transfers have happened over the last few days.

Sydney have signed Brazilian defensive midfielder Leo Sena from Brazilian Serie D side Agua Sana. He previously played in the Brazilian and Italian Serie A before suffering complications from covid. He only started to get back into playing regularly over the last year or so.
Wellington have signed Nigerian-English goalkeeper Josh Oluwayemi from FC Lahti in Finland.
Wellington have also signed 16 year old winger Luke Brooke-Smith from Hamilton Wanderers.

Rawley St John has signed for KFC Uerdingen in the Regionalliga West.

He got some minutes 2 weeks ago but didn't feature in the following game. They're playing now but I can't see the line ups. For added context, this is the league Italiano and others had been in for years and if he's there at 19 and can play regularly then it's a good thing for his age.

PSV Eindhoven want Marcus Younis on loan with a fee of 50k but WSW seem unlikley to go through with it because of the fee
