U23s squad has been announced, but wasn’t there a comprehensive review of his performance undertaken at the recent Olympic qualifiers (the one where we didn’t score a single goal)?

60 shots and 0 goals, acted weird towards irankunda, last two coaches got into the final four with weaker squads....not a lot to be pleased about...

And too late to have Nestor now with him being Socceroo - and Bayern probably wouldn’t release him for u23 games anyway

A full strength U23s would kill it. That squad is very beige. There's not much to be excited about. 

Vidmar shouldn't have that job anymore. If we can't find someone qualified in Australia we should look overseas.

agreed, the standards our rivals have set in the olyroos campaign is we should aim for anyone who has done one of the following
1) coached an a league team and finished in the top 4 of the a league
2) coached a j or k league team and finished top half
3) coached a 2nd/3rd tier european team and avoided relegation

I don't know Grazor. I'm just thinking what a full strength U23s would like v that squad and it lacks quality in comparison.

Jing Reec, Kealey Adamson, Archie Goodwin, Alessandro Lopane.

James Nieuwenhuizen also seems to be above Beach in the Melbourne City pecking order too having played in their Cup game.

Reec and lopane would surely be better than most of their competitors for that squad

I don’t understand either, the last Olyroos campaign was very disappointing. 

New Caledonia have pulled out so we’re just playing Vanuatu now. I didn’t realise until now that we are playing their senior side and not U23’s.
