Yeah. It would send me back to the website saying it hadn't worked and to resend the confirmation email. It worked on the fifth go.

Had a bit of trouble registering.

Another member contacted me off forum, to say they had registered for Green and Gold Forum. 

All  the  indicators of the old TWGF are similar in about 2007 just before it closed with Inside Sport ATM. There has been no maintenance of this Forum for years, and it isn't generating the  revenue the owner would have hoped. This possibly applies to Inside Sport as a business. The entire Inside Sport website could close. It could be days, weeks or months. It is prudent to join Green and Gold Forum whilst you can. Don't leave it too late. Or at least write the new forum name down.

Issues with it working on my phone, works a charm on my laptop

I'd registered for the first forum, but it worked the second time for me for this new one. Five is bad luck! I would  have given up.

I'm usually hopeless with computer IT too.

The new  site is working well.

It loads really quickly compared to the FTBL Forum Australian Football.

There is no Thai spam making all the threads disappear.

I just used the edit function for the first  time on Green and Gold Forum. I make a lot of typos. I've had trouble with  the editing function not working on this forum recently. About 50% of the time  the edit function doesn't work. Then I have to sit and observe typos I can't change!

Pasquali - when the spammers do find it, do you have the administrator option of deleting a user and all their posts in one go?

This forum was always about the game and the community and about fighting how shit the forum software is. I mean, not even being able to change my avatar anymore or having to click to reveal a like on each post?

I think pushing to the new forum is not right yet even though this place is getting difficult.
Many are still going to stay active here at this stage - just settle down till the move is forced for some have quoted staying here till the choice is forced.
We should move in mass not in the few so far to date, sure many of us registered in ready.

I agree mate... Pasquali has done a great job and I will move there full time if/when this place finally kicks the bucket, but posters actively using this forum as a advertising board for a rivel new endeavour is pretty shitty on so many levels.... I suppose I shouldn't be surprised by the Frank Lowy FFA ethics of some.

I agree - there is the PM route to make use of.....for making it this obvious how would this look upon the current forum admin watching.
Seeing the post in the Roo quali thread and long list of members encouraged to migrate I find I maybe looked upon my posts are not with good intent as quoted below :

Actively soliciting other posters to join the other forum crosses a line and is distasteful imo.
