I have my doubts about Peil's $7m in 2 years claim But assuming that is correct Unless the license value is going up $3.5m per year, it's worth nothing Peil was, in theory, hoping his investment plus agreed purchase price would allow him to end up with 50% of a '$25m' licence APL have fucked things up, licenses are trading hands for $1, and the TV money has shrunk by 80% hurry up and die please

It all seems a bit suss, so I'm trying to think of a reason Maybe he's renegotiating the deal with Charlesworth in the background Charlesworth initially wanted to invest heavily & had a plan for the Stadium precinct yet local council did not give the green light to improve infrastructure, shops etc.Doubt Charlseworth wants the Mariners after this season. He's doing a good deed atm. A new owner will run into dead ends with that council which owns the Stadium. Unfortunately, council have no foresight. I'm on the other forum as well...
