Man I work on the road and you would lose your shit hard at what I see every night. One night on the Tullamarine freeway we had closed a couple of left hand lanes. Some bloke comes down the Bell st on ramp (inbound) flips out when he see's the bollards and hangs a hard right staying inside the closure but travelling the wrong way down the freeway. The boys had to trap him with a truck and explain to him what he was doing wrong. Guy seemed out of it (probably pissed) so cops were called and don't know what happened to him or what would've happened once he got out of the closure but was only a few 100m off a 100km each way head on.
