It was something like "Lila says" but speaking of ridiculous shit I caught the last five minutes of one before that and it had a woman suffering split personalities or something like that getting dumped but she only allows it on the condition of one last shag and what follows is utterly fucked up as this mentally unstable woman dresses a guy up as a clown and pretty much rapes him as he just sits there with a look of grief on his face and the movie ends

WGMG: The media hype surrounding Jessica Watson. She has got more coverage in 1 day than the A-League has in 5 years.

In all fairness, she's 16. she started when she was 15. IMO she's an inspiration to young people over the world. I think what she's done is fantastic. I don't think you're fully understanding of how a enourmas feat it is - sailing unassisted, non-stop around the world. and she's not even an adult yet.
WOLLONGONG WOLVES FOR A-LEAGUE EXPANSION!

Am I correct in saying she had GPS/sat or whatever directing her? And she had regular phone contact with others? Its not like she controlled it the whole time, yes?

In all fairness, well done to her...but shit, she failed to achieve the record she was aiming for. And david's right. We really didn't need the 2 hour coverage on channel 10 as she sailed into sydney, we don't need interviews on ACA, TT, 7pm project, talk shows. She's on tv twice a day...even Rove at his peak wasn't that prolific.

The thing is, im not saying anything about her, in fact I say good on her for achieveing what she has done. But my point is that the media has blown this up waaaaaay too much. For the past 2 days she has been everyhwere on the news, on everything basically, but to me it's just not THAT big of a deal.

I think the media covergae was called for, probably the first time a woman has been away from a kitchen for so long so to televise her homecoming makes perfect sense. WGMG: Sluts whingeing about other sluts, there is a slut in my homeroom who makes about 50 abusive comments about sluts on facebook a day and declares things like "sluts needs to die" and such when she has a massive track record of being slutty and I saw her cheating on her boy friend a few times at a party a few weeks ago

We can't upena gain Heart because they need more time to develop support. But we've played Sydney too many times recently. The FFA is basically just backing a winning formula that's got fans though the gates in recent times.

WGMG: When will Sydney Buses finally replace thos ancient 1970s ere pieces of crap. They've done well over the last few year and replaced the majority of them them with new air conditioned buses but the remaining ones seem to have been shifted to Leichhardt Depot, so all the Balmain routes get them during Rush Hour. It's pissing down in Sydney today, and on the bus home had around half a litre of water dripping from the roof. Grrrrr
