afromanGT wrote:WGMG: My supervisor at work has been randomly getting shitty at me for no apparent reason. Last night I worked out why. She's telling the other male bartender off for something (or me as the case may be) and forgetting which one of us she's told off or instructed to do something, so when the other one does that same thing she goes "how many fucking times..." and cracks the shits. Fuck, I don't know what she's instructed him to do, and vice versa I spoke to my boss about this. She goes "I've been giving you hints". FFS, I'm male, I don't get hints. If you need me to do something (or not do it), fucking tell me. It's not that big a deal to go "Josh, can you stop free-playing the pool table?" or "Josh, we need more orange juice" instead of telling my co-worker and then getting shitty because I'm supposed to just guess that she's told him or that I'm expected to replenish the juice because the container's on the bottom bar. #-o KiwiChick1 wrote:So don't go out with her? I'm not...but she wants my cock (sounds crass, but she's made that abundantly clear). I'm not going to go out with her, but the question is; how long is it going to be before she comes into my bar and I'm horny enough to not care  Heineken wrote:Sounds like the first Friday night after the takeover happened, with the new security company. Except there was a glassing that happened, right in front of me. There were fights breaking out all over, in the pub, upstairs on the dancefloor, some bloke went to try and put another guys head through a poker machine in the Pokie room for whatever reason, people were belting each other out in the taxi rank. Was absolute bedlam. Will never forget the glassing though, still gives me the occasional nightmare. I didn't realise until I saw the security footage a couple of days ago, but one of the guys I tackled had just broken a bottle. He dropped it when I hit him. Fucking lucky. People who do that are just fucking cunts. We're the only nation on earth who use the word 'glass' as a verb. buddha wrote:WGMG: People who wear MLB, NBA, NFL hats and know nothing about the team I had a guy wearing a DaMarcus Ware jersey the other night, he had no fucking idea what he was wearing.

WGMG: So fucking busy right now. Just want this week to be over. Add to this some small issues with the girl and it's making me very annoyed. Especially when I overanalyze every problem until it makes me physically sick.

Everyone wants everything and they want it now and derp derp derp. Glad I don't give a shit about the woman 'issues' floating around at the moment. They can cuck my sock.

WGMG: Mum driving me crazy. WGMG: Rang Coles today. Told me they'd finished hiring. Seriously though, thanks for not ringing me earlier, and not letting me know I didn't get the job. I could have been searching elsewhere, but no. WGMG: Probably won't be able to have a birthday party now. Mum said i could do stuff with friends on my birthday, but I can't think of anything to do now, seeing as I'm out of money and parents have said they won't pay. House party out of the question and the only place I can think of without having to pay is the beach. And I'm not really a fan of the beach.

I could have been searching elsewhere, but no. I applied at about 7 places for my industrial experience for my uni degree and only heard back from 2 places, ended up getting an interview and the job at 1 of the 2 places. I know it sucks most places don't get back to you, but it seems that's the way it goes. Hope you can find a job soon, though.

I've hired before
The reason we don't get back to people who are unsuccessful, is because 50 people might have applied! In some cases it could be literally hundreds of people who applied! Do you know how long that would take? We have businesses to run and shit...

But yeah, you can't call up everyone who had an unsuccessful application.

Seriously, I work 6 days a week in the lead up to christmas, 12 hours a day, I don't have time to get back to 36 people to tell them they didn't get the job! Real World - welcome to it!

Not so much WGMG, but a little annoying: The fact that Canberran supermarkets don't have plastic bags. So, the other day when I got to the checkouts with heaps of stuff, I was looking like a dickhead while the dude was wondering where he was going to pack all my groceries.
